The role of Suppler Quality Assurance Manager manages a pan-European team of quality professionals who assure quality with our supplier base. This includes the implementation of and conformance with the Mars, Inc. quality standards to ensure a proactive risk management of raw and packaging materials. The Supplier Quality Assurance Team assesses, audits and measures supplier performance against agreed standards in the area of food safety, quality, legal, and environmental risks and partners with the Sourcing, R&D and Supply community to ensure business quality objectives are achieved.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in a Science or Engineering discipline or equivalent
Knowledgeable in quality management tools & techniques experience, risk management tools
Experience of supervising and directing people (up to 3 years)
5-8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality or related field.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Develop new methods, tools and programs for quality assurance. Lead developmental initiatives or programs within an area of expertise.
Highlight shortcomings in compliance processes, systems and procedures and suggest appropriate improvements. Work is focused on an assigned unit or discipline.
Supporting internal customers or helping senior colleagues manage internal client relationships.
Deliver small-scale or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.
