Job Description:

As a Supplier Quality Assurance Technologist at Mars you will address (raw material) non-conformances of in-bound materials at the assigned Mars sites. You will also execute continuous improvement projects (for raws) used across the business, with the goal of improving material quality, food safety, and overall sourcing strategy reliability to ensure we provide nothing but the best quality products to our consumers.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • You will be the primary interface between our supply chain and our suppliers regarding all quality matters.
  • Driving a culture that is rooted heavily in Lean principles, and applying the associated problem solving methodology across the manufacturing network.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve quality across the sites.

What are we looking for?

  • 3 or more years of experience working manufacturing quality, with sound understanding of food safety and HAACP.
  • Advanced training in Lean principles and problem solving.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain with the physical capability of working in a manufacturing environment when necessary.
  • Minimum of a bachelors degree.
