Mars Inc. is undertaking a global transformation program delivering a standard core of best practice processes and systems across its Enterprise and segment divisions.

This S2P / P2F / Sustainability Reporting & Analytics Analyst role serves to represent Shared Template in the definition and deployment of the Digital Core reporting and analytics solution. This role will work with business process subject matter experts and peer roles in other segments to design and deploy world class End to End reporting and analytics solutions.

What are we looking for?

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a related area

  • Comprehensive understanding of reporting and analytics solutions including SAP BW, Azure data lake, and Power BI (2+ yrs)

  • Proficiency working with and analyzing complex datasets; analyzing data, building Excel PivotTables, and identify trends and patterns to support data-driven decisions

  • Data quality and cleansing experience

  • Understanding of SAP ECC and S/4 data models

  • General understanding of SAP Material Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules

  • SAP data and analytics experience

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Drive consistency and standardisation in reporting by engaging with S2P, P2F, and Sustainability process owners to catalogue reporting requirements

  • Participate in and contribute to guiding S2P, P2F, and Sustainability process owners with respect to standard reporting across segments

  • Be responsible for ensuring data architecture of data model is fit for purpose for reporting needs and aligned to the strategic S2P, P2F, and Sustainability requirements.

  • Present business requirements to S2P, P2F, and Sustainability stakeholders and perform gap analysis to identify improvement opportunities

  • Educate business on self-service aspects to consume reports and make user specific changes

  • Connect Sustainability to other functional domain areas; Finance, P2F, S2P. to ensure single source of truth (SSOT)

  • Partner with technical teams to align Sustainability data model objects (e.g. Bill of Materials, Procured Volumes, MRP, Process Order recursion, etc.) with the appropriate technical objects in SAP (e.g. t415a, MSEG, MBEW, MKPF, etc.)

  • Provide functional requirements for measuring data quality as part of data cleansing & conversion

  • Define and maintain source catalog, data dictionary, & transformation logic identify sustainability data objects

  • Contribute to the definition of reconciliation controls to ensure alignment between transactional source & target reporting systems
