Join us and help bake something better.

Keep the lines running. Solve problems. Own the equipment.

We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining high-speed production equipment — with a heavy emphasis on electrical systems, controls, motors, and equipment troubleshooting.

If you’re the person others call when a machine goes down and you like figuring out why it stopped, this could be a great fit.

You’ll work across both electrical and mechanical systems, supporting production, completing preventative maintenance, and responding quickly to equipment issues. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with a variety of automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced food production environment.

What You’ll Do

Electrical & Controls

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and components on high-speed manufacturing equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.
  • Troubleshoot both control power and main power systems.
  • Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, sensors, switches, controls, and other industrial components.
  • Identify appropriate motor frames, power requirements, and amp draw.
  • Use electrical test equipment, including voltmeters and amp meters, to diagnose equipment issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical functions throughout production equipment.
  • Support PLC-based equipment and controls; PLC experience is a plus.
  • Perform soldering and other electrical repair techniques as needed.
  • Work safely around energized equipment and follow all electrical and industrial safety requirements.

Mechanical & Production Equipment

  • Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair manufacturing equipment including conveyors, assembly equipment, forming equipment, mixers, and packaging machinery.
  • Diagnose equipment failures, replace defective components, make repairs, and test equipment to ensure it is operating properly.
  • Work with pneumatic systems, cylinders, glue systems, date coders, and other production equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to equipment specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and scheduled PMs.
  • Use machine shop equipment and fabrication tools to repair parts or make equipment modifications.
  • Work with food-grade aluminum and stainless steel and perform fabrication and welding as needed.
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment required to safely complete maintenance work.

Keep Production Moving

  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
  • Prioritize and triage multiple maintenance needs in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Partner with Operations and other Maintenance Technicians to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Generate work orders and parts requests and ensure maintenance records are completed accurately.
  • Complete PMs, work orders, and required documentation.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of GMP, food safety, OSHA, and plant safety requirements.
  • Stay current on equipment, technical skills, and safety practices through ongoing training.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an experienced industrial maintenance professional who is confident troubleshooting electrical systems and isn't afraid to get hands-on with equipment.

  • 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings.
  • Working knowledge of control power and main power.
  • Experience troubleshooting motors, electrical components, sensors, and production equipment.
  • Experience using a voltmeter and amp meter.
  • PLC experience is a plus.
  • Packaging machinery experience is a plus.
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, fabrication, and welding experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with MIG, TIG, and/or acetylene welding is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industrial lubricants and their appropriate applications.
  • Ability to operate and safely use industrial maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple issues.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Must have a professional set of industrial maintenance and electrical tools, including a voltmeter and amp meter.
  • Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift, including weekends and occasional overtime.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • A troubleshooting mindset — you enjoy finding the root cause, not just replacing parts.
  • Strong electrical fundamentals and the ability to safely diagnose equipment issues.
  • Ability to read schematics and use technical documentation to solve problems.
  • Comfort working around high-speed production machinery.
  • Ability to move between electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and fabrication repairs as needed.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and food safety.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Maintenance and Operations teams.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on maintenance position. You should be comfortable with:

  • Lifting and moving equipment or parts weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Climbing ladders, stairs, and elevated platforms.
  • Kneeling, squatting, crawling, and working in confined spaces.
  • Working around moving machinery and production equipment.
  • Working safely around energized electrical equipment.
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying equipment and parts.
  • Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
  • Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and fabrication repairs in a manufacturing environment.

What we offer you

Our team members' physical and mental health is important to a thriving workplace. That’s why we offer the following benefits to full-time employees:
