UK Marketing Team, Mars Wrigley

2-3 days in Slough office

£53 - £66K + benefits

An exciting opportunity is available to join the Mars Wrigley UK Marketing Team on a year assignment on Extra® Gum - Mars Wrigley’s largest confectionery brand.

Mars Wrigley has Retail Sales of over £1 billion per annum, with loved household brands such as Maltesers®, Galaxy®, Extra®, Snickers®, Mars®, Twix®, Celebrations® and Skittles®.

We are looking for someone who is commercially astute, has good project management skills and a proven ability to lead teams to transform performance. Prior marketing experience is preferred with a knowledge of communications and media. What are we looking for?

  • Marketing FMCG experience preferable but other industry backgrounds considered
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Digitally savvy with strong analytical and data analysis skills
  • Executional excellence that showcases attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to create strong relationships and collaborate with both other internal departments and external partners
  • Understanding of media landscape and proven ability to deliver multi media campaigns partnering with external partners

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Partner with region to ensure activities developed deliver for UK consumer and customers.
  • Lead the brilliant execution of activities in market collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Partner with media agencies to deliver winning media plans.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure content is right for UK consumers.
  • Lead the localization of content through influencers, media partnerships and PR UK project leadership and management of key innovation and activation bullets, working with UK cross-functional teams to create business model and execution plans and influencing regional team to ensure projects deliver UK market needs.
  • Ensuring outstanding execution of campaigns in market by working with external agencies, Corporate Affairs, Shopper Marketing, Category & Sales to deliver targets.
  • Deliver growth driving media plans working with external agencies Analyze external and internal performance for brand, sharing data and insights with broader business and recommend any actions to course correct as required to deliver target.
  • Presentation of plans at key sales and customer meetings
