Job Purpose/Overview

Responsible for leading and driving alignment of the Mars Pet Nutrition’s financial shape and targets with business stakeholders, running the process to deliver the Mars PN SEA value creation strategic plan, operating plan, periodic reporting and analysis, and steering the business to deliver the target financial shape. Through his or her team, responsible also to co-pilot Mars PN SEA central functions including Marketing, Dcommerce, Supply and P&O, with the purpose to advance our capabilities in strategy, resource allocations and cost competitiveness across our value chain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Mars PN SEA Financial Shaping process and target setting, liaising with different functions and leadership team. Ensuring financial plans are fully aligned to the strategic direction and aspirations of the business.

2. Lead the periodic financial analysis and decision-making process including period reviews, IR, and join other cluster S&OP+ steps as Finance representative / approver. Ensure robust financial analysis with insights to measure performance and guide future business decisions.

3. Effectively lead, support and develop a team of Finance Associates. Select, engage and develop Associates to achieve their maximum potential and contribution to the unit’s objectives.

4. Build strategic demand co-pilot capability in enabling PN SEA demand priority and trade-off decisions and supported by strategic resource allocations. Drive brand growth and profitability and providing in-depth financial analysis and recommendations for business activities (item, brand, pack launches).

5. Build a holistic approach in realizing PN SEA cost competitiveness and MAC attack through SRM, Value Leadership, strategic reinvention programs, and Overheads guidelines, etc.

6. Improve and ensure compliance with internal processes and governance standards. Instill strong cost control and planning discipline to assist senior leadership in achieving business targets.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. A CPA or MBA is preferred.

- 12 years of relevant experience.

- Previous FP&A manager or Finance Co-pilot manager experiences are required.

- Experience in global, regional or additional geographical role will be a plus.
