Job Description:
The Production Leader leads and integrates the efforts of a single team or multiple teams across all shifts responsible for all quality, safety, cost, reliability and quantity of the line or lines which make up the value stream. Responsible for sound people management, problem solving and project management skills. Is responsible for producing finished goods or sub-assemblies for finished goods. They can be a machine operator or a team leader who helps coordinate activities and effectiveness of a group of machine operators as they complete their shift schedules.

What are we looking for?
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years in a supervisory or people leadership role within manufacturing.
3-5 years of overall manufacturing experience.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across functions.
Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and continuous improvement principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a technical field
Additional experience in sanitation, OSHA programs, or advanced food safety practices.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 10–50 lbs regularly, work at heights, navigate confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead day-to-day operations for your production area—ensuring top-tier safety, quality, and efficiency.
Coach and grow associates, build strong teams, and foster a high-engagement environment.
Drive continuous improvement and support Mars Supply Excellence initiatives, including Autonomous Maintenance and AWTs.
Coordinate staffing, materials, and changeovers to keep production running smoothly.
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to execute reliability strategies and enhance line performance.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and manage on-shift escalations.
Support recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing development of operations talent.
