Process Development Technologist/Scientist

We have an exciting opportunity for a process development specialist to join our site in Birstall (West Yorkshire). This role will be pivotal to the design and development of new manufacturing processes, from concept through to implementation in our factory network. In addition, the successful candidate will work on projects aimed at improving existing processes and ensuring that opportunities to optimise process efficiency and effectiveness are identified and realised. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on several projects simultaneously, work across geographies, and will be a member of highly skilled cross-functional teams operating with in a fast-paced environment.

What are we looking for?

  • Highly motivated graduate in science, engineering or other related technical discipline.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, teamworking)

  • Computer proficiency and fluent in English

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, but not essential

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Ownership of process technology work-streams across a range of projects, effectively managing delivery to time, cost and quality, taking responsibility for effective project and risk management

  • Developing process solutions, from the initial concept phase through to factory implementation, which deliver against the defined consumer, customer and business requirements.

  • Supporting transfer of new and existing products and technologies across our global factory network.

  • Knowledge management and communication within R&D and across functions
