Job Description

Job Description:

Who are we?

Kellanova is now part of Mars Snacking, and this role exists within the “Accelerator” division of Mars Snacking. Accelerator is Mars Snacking's growth engine, focused on unlocking growth across high-potential categories and brands. Within Accelerator, the Better For You portfolio includes KIND®, RXBAR®, Nutri-Grain®, Special K Bars®, and Kashi® and within Tasty & Wholesome, the portfolio includes Eggo, Rice Krispies Treats, Pop Tarts, and MorningStar Farms. Combining the scale of Mars with the agility of a growth business, we are driving innovation, accelerating performance, and transforming how we work through data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

We’re looking for passionate collaborators to help us become the foremost leader in Mars Snacking and positively impact society along the way. If you’re looking to be a part of an inspiring, energetic and entrepreneurial environment, you’ve found the right place.

What you’ll do

The Omni and Execution Excellence Manager leads all Omni, Shopper, and E-Commerce strategy for the Accelerator business—the division supporting the legacy Kellanova brands along with KIND and Nature's Bakery. The role is responsible for translating customer, shopper, digital commerce, and retail execution insights into actionable recommendations that drive business performance. This role will serve as a key connector between customer strategy, omnichannel activation, retail execution, and business results by ensuring priorities are translated into measurable outcomes

This role is based in Mississauga with regular in-office collaboration expected. Flexibility is a key enabler—empowering associates to make choices that support both business outcomes and personal needs, including remote work.

What are we looking for?

  • Postsecondary education or equivalent work experience. Business, Marketing, Commerce, Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Omnichannel, eCommerce, Category Management, Sales Strategy, Retail Execution, Shopper Marketing, Business Analytics, or related commercial functions.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian retail customers, omnichannel commerce, and retail execution fundamentals.
  • Experience developing strategic recommendations using customer, shopper, syndicated, retail media, and digital commerce data.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate insights into action-oriented business recommendations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Strong project management and change management skills.
  • Advanced communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Power BI, Excel, syndicated data sources, retailer reporting platforms, and digital commerce analytics tools preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Omnichannel Growth & Customer Strategy
    • Lead the development and execution of customer-specific Omni Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
    • Partner with Customer Omni Directors and customer teams to identify growth opportunities across physical and digital commerce.
    • Develop omnichannel strategies that align customer objectives, brand priorities, and commercial goals.
    • Evaluate opportunities across digital shelf, content optimization, search performance, ratings and reviews, and retail media.
    • Develop retailer and customer-specific growth stories and thought leadership to influence omni investment and execution plans.
    • Partner with Shopper Marketing, Sales, and SDL teams to ensure integrated customer activation plans.
  • Retail Execution & Perfect Store Excellence
    • Lead retail execution measurement and scorecard development across Accelerator Brands.
    • Monitor service level agreement (SLA) performance and identify execution gaps and improvement opportunities.
    • Analyze availability, visibility, distribution, display, and activation performance to identify opportunities for growth.
    • Quantify business impact and develop recommendations to improve in-store execution.
    • Partner with sales teams and leadership to prioritize opportunities and track improvement initiatives.
    • Support the ongoing development of Perfect Store capabilities, standards, and governance.
  • Business Insights, Reporting & Capability Building
    • Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, and performance scorecards.
    • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations and growth opportunities.
    • Support Quarterly Business Reviews, customer plan reviews, and strategic business updates.

What can you expect from Mars?

  • Work with over 130,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.
  • Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.
  • Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.
  • An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
