We're now seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Maintenace Engineer to join our vital factory team! If you're a hands-on mechanical engineering professional who thrives on tackling challenges and ensuring the smooth operation of high-speed production, this is your chance to make a significant impact.

As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining the optimal performance of our production equipment. You'll be responsible for swiftly diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, conducting proactive preventative maintenance, and collaborating closely with Operations to maximize efficiency and uptime. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor our Operations team.

What are we looking for?

  • A strong track record of independently diagnosing and resolving mechanical challenges, preferably within a fast-paced FMCG setting.
  • Comprehensive troubleshooting abilities across pneumatic, basic hydraulic, machining, and mechanical systems on a wide range of process and packaging equipment.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent self-management and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks while collaborating well with others.
  • A relevant engineering qualification complemented by practical experience that demonstrates your capabilities.

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Master Equipment Challenges: Expertly troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul precision equipment to maintain peak performance.
  • Drive Efficient Operations as Part of a Dynamic Team: Collaborate to ensure timely and effective equipment repairs in a fast-paced production environment, managing diverse mechanical/electrical and administrative tasks.
  • Champion Proactive Maintenance: Independently execute Preventative Maintenance (PMs) on key process and packaging equipment to maximize uptime.
  • Empower Operational Excellence: Support Operations in equipment setup and training operators in Autonomous Maintenance.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance through Meticulous Documentation: Utilize SAP-PPM for accurate plant maintenance logging and strictly adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures, Confined Space Procedures, and all other Plant Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety protocols to support a secure working environment and machinery uptime.
