Job Purpose

  • Is responsible for effectively and efficiently communicate, facilitate, co-ordinate, and prioritize all maintenance activities within his to ensure the maintenance department meets their short- and long-term business commitments.
  • Leading, Planning and Assigning Resources of all maintenance Activities (Maintenance shifts, lines overhauling…etc.)
  • Sustaining and Continually Improving the Operational Performance and Reliability of the Plant Equipment and Utilities
  • Is responsible for effectively and efficiently deal with breakdowns within his, apply analytical tools to resolve root causes to ensure continuous operation
  • Is responsible to develop and follow operation associates to apply Autonomous maintenance within his scope

Responsibilities

  • This position requires a close working relation with other supply groups particularly the Value Stream organization, SES, Quality Control and Engineering. This to ensure consistent product quality, productivity and safety.
  • Representing the VS Maintenance Team in Daily and Weekly Connection Points.
  • Accountable for Leading and Planning of all Corrective, Preventive and Proactive Maintenance Activities for the below assets based on his scope.
  • Support in annual maintenance and overhauling activities planning along with maintenance planner
  • Ensure adherence to plans & Schedule and supervise
  • This position also actively participates and contributes to the success of the site reliability improvement program and the continuous improvement teams in operations.
  • Review equipment manuals and continuously update PM plan according to the manufacturer’s recommendation
  • Accountable for Leading and Execution of all Preventive and Proactive Maintenance Activities with maintenance lead
  • Normal Shutdown activities
  • Weekly / Periodic Maintenance Shifts activities
  • Production lines Annual Overhauling,
  • Support Facility Management Team in planning and executing Utilities overhauling
  • Owns and develops of site Master PM plan
  • Lead Small Minor Projects and Value Leadership Initiatives based on his scope
  • Support reliability team in improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, resources, cost (direct and indirect) and equipment reliability
  • Support Site Projects and Engineering Teams during Design, Installation and Commissioning Phases for any New Project
  • Comply with ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001 through any Process or Document over the Plant Production Facilities and Utilities
  • Monitor Machine History & Scorecards and update Maintenance Strategy & Master Plan accordingly
  • Responsible for Implementing a Safe Environment for both Equipment and Associates and 100% Closure for all Safety Near Misses over the VS Production Facilities and Utilities
  • Responsible for implementing Quality and Food Safe Environment for the Products through maintain Site CCPs, OPRP’s states and 100% closure for all Q&FS Near Misses raised over the VS
  • Responsible for Triggering and Suppling Technical Solutions for any Chronic Issues
  • Act as a champion to collaborate cross-functionally in Nexus execution for incident reporting, corrective action and preventive actions.
  • Ensure all SRC’s within span of control are adhered to, correct any deviations and escalate if needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities by participating in FRCA and PDCA initiatives.
  • Accountable on PM Experts and shift technician’s development support
  • Develop himself and VS technicians to solve production lines BDs and ensure the effectiveness of the RC analysis.

Context & Scope

  • Is directly responsible and accountable for site assets, corrective, preventive and autonomous maintenance activities in addition to spare parts warehouse accountability to ensure lines availability and reliability
  • His scope is covering factory production lines and utilities areas. Provide support to different factory functions during normal operations as SES and Q&FS. Playing a vital role during different projects phases: design, installation, commissioning and projects handovers.
  • Is covering the Maintenance Lead in case of absence for all VSO matters, decisions, PM Planning & Execution, Reactive Maintenance Activities…. etc.

Stakeholders:

  • Internal: VSO, R&D, SES, Q&FS, Site Projects Team and Regional Engineering team
  • External: External suppliers, other Mars sites and technical COP, Managing local suppliers and workshops

Knowledge/Experience

· Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics or equivalent.

· Minimum 2-4 yrs hands on experience
