Job Purpose

  • Planning and Scheduling all Corrective / Preventive Activities raised on VS Tours and during normal Line Operation
  • Developing on daily basis detailed job package for all preventive maintenance and turnaround tasks for his VS.
  • Developing, communicating and maintaining a workable and forward schedule to balance work requirements and VS priorities across production needs and maintenance resource constraints
  • Providing coordination between planning and warehouse as a part of the proactive, preventive and corrective maintenance programsas well as spare parts sourcing leadership.
  • Helping to develop and setup the predictive and proactive maintenance program in his all VS areas.
  • Responsible for Sustaining and Continually Improving the Operational Performance and Reliability of the Plant Equipment

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning of all Corrective, Preventive and Proactive Maintenance Activities for all Production Facilities and Utilities
  • Improve equipment reliability while minimizing conversion costs by efficient utilization of labor, parts, materials, and outside vendor services
  • Gate keeper for all maintenance jobs according to priority specifications
  • Create and update job sheet library based on experience and feedback from maintenance technicians and reliability engineer. ·
  • Elaborate and communicate reports related to planning activities ·
  • Responsible for planning and updating of Plant Preventive Maintenance Master Plan and CBM Plan · Champion CMMS & SAP systems. ·
  • Arrange stock-take of spare instrument/ equipment and instrument/equipment that is in use.
  • Championing GAP Analysis for Quality standards for the Maintenance Team. ·
  • Lead and Document Daily / Periodically Checklists
  • Support in Planning / Issuing Daily Work Orders for PM Experts and Shift Technicians
  • Update Site Master Spare Parts Data against new Equipment and Projects · Monitor / Improve the Spares Consumption over the Plant Production Facilities and Utilities as per his scope
  • Coordinate with the Storekeeper to update Spare Parts Specifications, min. & max. Values
  • Coordinate with the operations team to define Tasks duration, Tools, Resources needed for all Lines Shutdown Activities
  • Plan Value Stream Annual Overhauling · Comply with ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001 through any Process or Document over the Plant Production Facilities and Utilities
  • Monitor Machine History & Scorecards and update Maintenance Strategy & Master Plan accordingly
  • Implement a Safe Environment for both Equipment and Associates and 100% Closure for all Safety Near Misses over the VS Production Facilities and Utilities
  • Implement Quality and Food Safe Environment for the Products through maintain Site CCPs, OPRP’s states and 100% closure for all Q&FS Near Misses raised over the VS
  • Act as a champion to collaborate cross-functionally in Nexus execution for incident reporting, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities by participating in FRCA and PDCA initiatives.
  • Implement all specific Safety Standards related to his VS as per the direction from SES Team & according to our Mars Quality & Food Safety Standards

Context & Scope

  • Maintenance VS Planner & PM Expert is responsible for Planning and Executing all activities across the VS while abiding by Safety, Quality & Food Safety policies, instructions and regulations.
  • It also involves the ability to maintain a balance between meeting immediate day to day issues and planning preventive activities & Major Turnarounds.
  • His scope is covering VS production lines and utilities areas. Provide support to different VS functions during normal operations as SES and Q&FS. Playing a vital role during different projects phases: design, installation, commissioning and projects handovers.
  • The scope further involves scheduling all planned activities with the production scheduler, responsibility on spare parts availability in stock
  • Is covering the Maintenance Lead in case of absence for PM Planning & Execution
  • Stakeholders: Internal: Technical Maintenance Team, VSO, R&D, Q&FS, SES, Site projects team and Regional Engineering team.

Education & Professional Qualification

  • BSc. Degree in engineering from a reputable university
  • Knowledge/Experience: 1-3 years working in maintenance preferably in FMCG
