Salary: £38,200 - £43,000 (dependent on experience)
Bonus: Performance-related company bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Job Purpose:

As the Maintenance Improvement Lead, you will play a crucial role in reducing factory losses and optimizing processes. You will lead improvement projects while serving as the vital link between operations and maintenance teams.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Technical Expertise: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong technical background.

  • SAP Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP management systems.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven experience in identifying and resolving issues effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Influence & Leadership: Ability to influence without direct authority and coach teams effectively.

  • Tech Savvy: A strong technical mindset with the agility to learn new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety & Efficiency: Enhance safety and food safety standards while minimizing unplanned breakdowns and maintenance costs.

  • Reliability Improvement: Lead and identify reliability improvement initiatives to reduce breakdowns.

  • Project Management: Oversee the preparation, follow-up, and delivery of local site project milestones.

  • Problem-Solving Expertise: Utilize your expertise in complex problem-solving methodologies to coach and lead maintenance and operations associates. Your role will be pivotal in effectively tracking and resolving operational challenges, ensuring seamless functionality across the factory.

  • Competency Development: Spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive competency upskill plan for the technical team. Fostering a diverse range of skills, you will contribute to minimizing breakdowns and unplanned losses, enhancing overall site efficiency and resilience.
