The Key Account Manager is responsible for coordination and support of the key account strategy of Royal Canin Belgium in the area of our Veterinary Channel, by establishing, maintaining and developing the customer relationship with the key accounts of the offline business and clinic groups. With the goal of increasing sales and especially expanding and securing the online and offline market share / market position of therapeutic diets and guarantying the accomplishment of VET pillar’s strategy and vision.
What are we looking for?
- A Bachelor or Master degree in business, marketing or animal science and 3 + years’ experience managing accounts at headquarters level; preferred in Veterinary industry.
- Local language skills required
- Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Proficient use of office tools (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat).
- Ability to engage customers and function as a team player and project leader.
- Comfortable setting priorities, manage multiple tasks and remain focused in a changing environment.
What will be your Key Responsibilities
- Maximizing all business opportunities with the clinic groups: Brand visibility in the clinics, marketing services, promotions, listings and product categories Development of the brand's offline presence in collaboration with customers
- Close cooperation and communication with marketing and field service to implement the measures and goals agreed in the annual key account meetings
- Implementation of the offline strategy in the field of therapeutic diets
- Strengthening the market position for B2B/ B2C
- Budget responsibility within the scope of key accounts
- Analysis and observation of the VET market, clinic group market, competitors, customer needs and market development with the aim of expanding the market position and further development in the stationary busines
- Preparation of demand planning as well as compilation and evaluation of statistics and possible trends
