Do you want to be part of the logistics backbone of Mars Wrigley — delivering smiles all over the world? Join the Factory Logistics team at Mars Veghel and step right into the heart of our supply chain.

In this role, you coordinate the full inbound flow of packaging, raw materials, and semi-finished goods for our Veghel site and sister factories. You work closely with suppliers, external partners, factory teams and regional planning. Thanks to your coordination, communication and problem-solving skills, production never stops.

What are your responsibilities

  • Manage short-term purchase orders, call-offs and volume allocations; share regular delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Analyze daily material demand changes, assess supply risks and align with planning and manufacturing on solutions.
  • Coordinate delivery dates and methods with suppliers, ensuring all updates are reflected in SAP.
  • Monitor the full inbound flow until materials arrive at the warehouse.
  • Handle incoming invoices and communicate quality issues or specification changes to suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and share insights with logistics and factory management.
  • Ensure strong connection with factory processes (e.g., FMOS).
  • Work closely with Regional Commercial Operations and regional material planning teams.
  • Lead and support improvement projects focusing on cost, service, digitalization, and sustainability.

Who you are

  • Higher education degree, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and ambition to grow — or several years of experience as a supply chain/logistics expert.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Comfortable dealing with change, able to prioritize and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a drive for results and continuous improvement.
