Join Us as a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager – Help Us Build a Safer, Greener Future at Mars

You’ll lead risk management, drive meaningful HSE initiatives, and make sure our site meets both Mars’ high standards and all regulatory requirements.

In this role, you’ll work across functions to strengthen our culture of care. From providing expert advice to leading audits and engaging with regulators, your expertise will directly shape the well-being of our Associates and the environment we share.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the go-to expert for all HSE matters

  • Partner with P&O on training and occupational health initiatives

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality to ensure safe, sustainable projects

  • Lead audits and inspections to keep standards high

  • Stay ahead of legislation and share insights with the business

  • Represent Mars with the HSE Executive, Environment Agency, insurers and legal bodies

  • Coach and develop Safety Reps and HSE personnel to bring our plans to life

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a health and safety leadership or management role

  • Confidence making sound decisions under pressure

  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and strong communication skills
