What are we looking for?

  • Highly numerate and analytical, with strong communication and influencing skills

  • Commercial & Sales FMCG experience of trading or account management

  • Previous strong people leadership experience

  • eCommerce expert preferred but not essential

  • Early Adopter with Growth Mindset

  • This role is a technical leadership role but with people leadership at its centre. You will need to build excellent relationships with a complex set of customers and internal stakeholders and therefore have great resilience to deal with the broad scope.

  • You will often need to switch between tactical, operational support into longer term strategic thinking and planning. You will enjoy learning about new technology and trends and be able to spot the opportunity for the MW dCommerce business.

  • Whilst this role is UK based - you will work closely with the EU COA & Global teams on numerous projects - for example - Marketplace Reseller Launch, ODD Insight sharing & portfolio development.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Responsible for the delivery of the 'Direct P&L' + our Indirect business through ODD Aggregators from GSV to Contribution through your team.
  • Lead your team to high performance by coaching & developing associates in the UK and through adhoc support of the wider Associate population.
  • As a member of the 'Online Leadership Team' (OLT) you will also support your peers in development and deployment of key focus areas - for example - Digital Immersion Programme, dCommerce Strategy, HPC Charter, talent development & be a role model and custodian of the dCommerce behaviours.
  • Acts as the 'number 2' to the Digital Director - supporting the creation of key documents for S&OP+ cycle, facilitating and leading commercial feeder meetings and continually improving processes across the team to ensure efficiency and rigor in our communication of commercial performance.
  • Be a 'Thought Leader' for new pioneering scale opportunities in eCommerce and be future focused.
