This role is a project-based transformation role with a current expected end date of '31st December 2030'. As we approach this date, we'll work with you to explore other opportunities for employment within the Mars family of companies. If a suitable alternative role is not available at that time, your employment will end.

Mars Inc. is in the midst of a comprehensive transformation initiative where we’re revolutionizing our operations by standardizing best practice processes and systems across our enterprise. We're seeking a visionary leader to join us in this transformation as the Global Director, ERP Commercial Process. In this role, you'll be at the helm of building a common best-practice solution using SAP and cutting-edge solutions. You'll lead a team of process experts, working closely with industry partners and Mars Snacking Global Cross-Functional Process leaders to design and deploy a solution within the Mars ‘Clean Core’ industry standard ERP framework. Your work will not only enable a standardized global platform that drives growth but also foster efficient and engaging ways of working. Your leadership will ensure effective solution collaboration and delivery across functional leaders, setting the stage for a new era of operational excellence at Mars Inc


What are we looking for?

  • Educational Excellence: A bachelor’s degree in business, IT or a relevant business function. Your academic achievements lay the foundation for success in this role.
  • Sourcing Guru: 5+ years deep experience in Sourcing. Your expertise in this area will be the key to unlocking operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Transformation Trailblazer: Proven experience in ERP transformation. Your past successes in this area will be invaluable as we embark on our own transformation journey.
  • Collaborator: Your ability to partner with global and regional stakeholders and build strong relations to support aligned solutions.
  • Financial Steward: Proficiency in budget management. Your financial acumen will ensure we make the most of our resources.
  • Leadership Luminary: Your leadership skills will guide your team as we navigate the challenges of transformation.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Ignite Excellence: Lead a high-performing team of process experts in the Sourcing/Commercial area, inspiring them to reach new heights of performance and innovation.
  • Foster Collaboration: Join forces with Mars Snacking functional leaders, global segment leaders, and internal process leaders to co-create solutions that fuel business growth and efficiency. Your collaborative spirit will be the catalyst for transformative change.
  • Champion Standardization: Take the helm in deploying the solution across all global Mars Snacking markets. As a champion of standardization, you’ll drive the implementation of a common solution across diverse global environments, setting the stage for unified success.
  • Engage and Influence: Engage with regional leaders, senior global cross-functional process leaders, and change management champions to bring the global Sourcing solution to the global markets. Your ability to influence and engage will be key in driving the adoption of the solution.
  • Harness the Power of Technology: Work with your team and Snacking cross-functional leaders to maximize the efficient use of technology. Your role will be pivotal in reducing customization and leveraging the clean core model to unlock the potential of future plug-in Gen AI capabilities. Your leadership will pave the way for technological innovation and efficiency.
