Job Purpose/Overview

To lead and drive the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) efforts across the APMEA region as part of the Facilities Service Management (FSM) team within MGS Commercial. This role is accountable for the strategic partnership and delivery of MRO services across multiple segments, ensuring alignment with local site senior stakeholders and supporting the transformation and standardization of MRO services.

The role ensures the realization and sustainability of MRO transformation benefits, while maximizing the value of strategic partnerships with MRO providers to support Mars’ operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for identification and execution of defined projects including MRO Consolidator and repairs
  • Support delivery and sustainability of MRO transformation benefits (savings pipeline)
  • Support further implementation and finalize MRO projects (linked to MEGA2.0 program)
  • Proactively inform on progress and drive any required consultation or escalation processes.
  • Drives operational governance of related supplier to ensure desired service quality:
  • Support Commercial with Contract Negotiations, ensuring Supply priorities are adequately reflected (Determining Relevant KPI’s for example.)
  • Ensures consistent supplier governance aligned to IFM
  • Support to drive standardization across service portfolio in close x-functional cooperation (CoEs) with MSE, Supply Maintenance, Q&FS, HSE, and SiG (potentially more CoEs in future)
  • Responsible for related stakeholder management:
  • Proactively inform on progress and drive required consultation processes.
  • Ensure development of efficient End to End Processes:
  • Analysis of current processes and identification of potential inconsistencies in relevant processes.
  • Consults with SMEs and drives the development of consistent and efficient End to End Processes that deliver project goals and support site WoW.
  • Oversees that Site implementation.
  • Identifies and drives any other agreed project in the related space
  • Support further incremental value with our strategic partners, through e.g. scope extension, improvements in MSE PM, or any other functional objectives

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher degree) in science (ex. engineering, chemistry, economics, etc.) is preferred

Knowledge/Experience

  • 10 years+ in Supply / Maintenance / Operations
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving projects across multiple sites
  • A reputation of credibility and integrity within the supply organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good knowledge in operations and maintenance processes
  • Strong leadership, perspective and organizational skills
  • Excellent conflict management, communication, collaboration, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact and build partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and partners over regional and site level
  • Good knowledge of food, CPG manufacturing, and GMPs
