The E-Commerce Analyst is accountable for reporting & analysis to support the E-commerce team in optimizing sales performance, forecasting and budgets. This role will provide support to the E-commerce team and have strong collaboration cross-functionally to drive action against KPI’s.
The Analyst will play a key role in enabling the day-to-day operations and analytical insights of a fast-paced Pureplay (Amazon) business.
What are we looking for?
- University degree or college diploma in related field.
- 1-3 years of industry experience, E-commerce experience or analyst environment.
- Familiarity with Data Sets and ability to turn data into insights.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- PowerBI experience (creating dashboards) an asset.
- Preferred but not required: Vendor Central (Amazon POs), NIQ Digital Shelf, Stackline data sources.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Performance Reporting:
Data Analysis & Reporting: POS trends, category & online market trends, competitive trends.
Promotional event performance tracking.
Strategic portfolio weekly KPI tracking.
Subscribe & Save monitoring & evaluation.
Scorecarding and KPI evaluation in preparation for customer meetings and internal updates.
Operational Support:
Catalogue maintenance & updates.
Partnering with customer replenishment team on inventory analysis & evaluation.
Budget Tracking:
Support Sales team with maintenance and reconciliation of trade spend planner.
Processing and reconciliation of trade deductions and post audits.
Forecasting:
Short and long term forecasting evaluation.
Synchronizing customer forecasts and Mars forecasts.
Partnering with Demand Planning & Sales team to review baselines, building blocks & promotional volumes.
