Antech is seeking a highly driven and experienced Director of Product Management – Imaging to lead the regional strategy, positioning, and lifecycle management of our veterinary imaging portfolio, including ultrasound, x-ray, CT, and MRI. This role bridges clinical and technical expertise with commercial acumen, ensuring our imaging solutions meet the evolving needs of veterinary professionals across Europe and APAC.


You will lead a team of Commercial and Technical Product Managers and collaborate closely with commercial, service, and marketing teams. The Director will be accountable for portfolio strategy, roadmap execution, commercial outcomes, and driving a positive customer experience across our client base.


The ideal candidate will be a strategic, results-oriented leader with a proven track record in product management, and a passion for advancing imaging solutions that elevate veterinary diagnostics and pet health outcomes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Strategy

  • Set and communicate the overarching vision for the imaging diagnostics portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

  • Define and evolve the regional portfolio strategy, including product positioning, lifecycle management, market differentiation, and a multi-year roadmap.

  • Manage OEM relationships at a strategic level to influence product roadmaps and negotiate commercial and service terms.

  • Partner with global R&D team to share market insights, shape future strategies and product needs.

  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert within the company.

Go To Market

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, portfolio gaps, customer needs, and growth opportunities.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including target market identification, pricing strategies, promotional activities, and sales enablement tools.

  • Set clear objectives and own key business metrics including product adoption, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

  • Lead planning and partner with marketing to execute product launches, ensuring alignment across sales and service functions.

  • Represent the imaging portfolio at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.

  • Ensure internal readiness for new product introductions, including training, documentation, and support.

Lifecycle Management

  • Own the full lifecycle of the imaging diagnostics portfolio - from market introduction through growth, maturity, and sunset.

  • Monitor in-market performance, customer feedback, and service data to inform product enhancements and portfolio decisions.

  • Collaborate with OEM partners to plan product transitions, replacements, and upgrades.

Technical Product Management

  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in veterinary imaging diagnostics.

  • Ensure technical documentation, user guides, and training materials are developed and maintained to support first level service teams.

  • Collaborate with service and service teams to identify recurring issues, escalate to OEMs, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Monitor support metrics and customer feedback to inform product enhancements and lifecycle decisions.

  • Champion a knowledge-sharing culture across technical and service teams to ensure consistent and high-quality customer support.

Pricing Strategy & Governance

  • Define and manage the pricing strategy for the imaging portfolio in collaboration with commercial, finance, and cluster teams.

  • Ensure pricing reflects market positioning, competitive dynamics, and customer value.

  • Develop pricing models and tools to support sales teams in quoting and deal structuring.

  • Monitor pricing performance and adjust strategies based on market feedback and product lifecycle stages.

Budget Management

  • Planning, administration, and monitoring of the ImagingProduct Management budget

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of Commercial and Technical Product Managers across imaging modalities.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.

  • Facilitate effective decision-making by aligning teams on shared goals, priorities, and metrics.

Training & Enablement

  • Define a product training framework to support Sales and Service teams across regions.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of a centralized knowledge base.

  • Monitor training effectiveness and continuously improve content based on feedback and product updates.

Education and Experience:

  • Veterinary Medicine or Animal Science degree or a bachelor’s or associate degree in an equivalent field.

  • 7+ years working in a product management, or similar role, ideally in the veterinary industry/animal health industry

  • Veterinary industry experience: direct experience in the veterinary industry whether in clinical practice, veterinary pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, or related fields is highly valued

  • Customer centric mindset - a strong passion for supporting veterinarians and improving outcomes for pets in their care.

  • Industry expertise - deep understanding of the animal health industry, particularly in diagnostics and imaging, with strong awareness of customer experience drivers and the competitive landscape.

  • Strategic influence - Strong negotiation and influencing skills to gain alignment across multiple stakeholders and prioritize competing needs effectively.

  • Technical Acumen: Solid technical knowledge of veterinary imaging modalities and diagnostic workflows.
