In this position, you’ll be assigned a territory and are responsible for selling product to assigned customers and merchandise retail outlets. You’ll build relationships with vendors, sell our product to them, distribute product and merchandise. High impact calls (complex selling) represent the majority of the customers. You’ll coordinate the sales department and provide new strategies to sales associates on how to increase sales, attend to customers and close deals. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma. 2+ years of experience in the sales field. Preference is with CPG products. Possession of valid drivers license. Ability to lift up to 40lbs, sit, stand, walk and kneel for long periods of time. What will be your key responsibilities? Sell presentation programs, booking sheets and new product to customers along with suggesting orders and actual orders. Continuously guarantee that promotional and seasonal compliance is met within designated retail outlets. Maintain distribution of assigned products. Execute merchandising excellence by ensuring that shelves are stocked, sell specific shelving strategies, and optimize freshness and quality of products on the shelf. Maintain an adequate stock of relevant merchandising supplies and POS materials. Maintain accurate and appropriate data through hand-held technology as determined by the business.
