The CVS operator is part of a cross-functional team to ensure that new products and projects are commissioned, validated and started-up in an efficient and timely manner. The CVS operator makes sure that the project deliveries are aligned with the best practices for the operators and develops training to support the CVS objectives.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • A good understanding of the factory and its technologies

  • Demonstrated project management (ideally of numerous, interconnected projects) and networking/communication skills.

  • Proven technical capability and demonstrated creativity in turning insights into project improvements and solutions

  • Able to demonstrate advanced problem solving skills and analytical approaches

  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop and deliver a training for individuals or groups

  • A good understanding of our factory GMP/GHP and safety standards

  • Accountable for the implementation of actions from the cross functional team in the successful commissioning, validation and start-up of new assets, processes and procedures

  • Manages the input into handover 0, 1, 1,5 documentation through the life of the project in accordance with our CVS processes and communicates this out effectively

  • Defines relevant and measurable success criteria for the project handover documentation

  • Liaises between the operations team and the cross functional project team to make sure that the project deliveries are aligned with the operator best practices and wishes

  • Manages the cross functional effort to create Standard Operating Procedures to maximize operational effectiveness based on extensive technical knowledge

  • Provides coaching and feedback to associates on a regular basis to ensure a timely project delivery and good team atmosphere

  • Applies creative and technical skills and a thorough understanding of our factory to create project delivering against the defined handover criteria

  • Recommends and implements changes in methods, equipment, systems and organizations to assure that the project objectives are met

  • Integrates the project deliverables into the FMOS Process

  • Accountable for providing expert technical and operational input into project reviews ensuring that project design and implementation meet the operations standards and needs

The CVS operator works closely with the CVS Lead, Value Stream Manager, Project Manager, Team Leads and operators. The CVS Lead reports directly to the Value Stream Manager.

The CVS operator has a working knowledge of all site specific policies, such as quality policy, safety policy, business objectives etc. The CVS operator knows the factory areas and techniques very well to be able to improve and implement the CVS plan.

The nature of this role will require some schedule flexibility. The CVS Lead will be expected to flex their work hours and days to align with the completion of their duties. This may include weekend and non-day based work, based on the needs of the business.

Some domestic and international travel may be required.
