Job Description:

The Associate Relations Manager will serve as the point of contact for associate relations issues and inquiries within an identified cross segment, cross functional client group. Responsibilities include building trust, credibility and collaborative relationships with line managers and associates. Additionally, the AR Manager will build AR functional capability in the organization's line leaders through the delivery of capability building programs and through coaching and counselling. Handle inquiries and mitigate risk to the organization through application of policies, practices and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Resolve issues and address client needs to ensure situations are resolved fairly, objectively, and in a manner that aligns with our Five Principles and the Associate Concept.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

  • Over 6 years of substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level.

  • Min 3 years’ experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop procedures and interprets and applies policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on application of policy, then monitor implementation of those procedures within the organization.

  • Draft Human Resources frameworks and tools for recruitment, performance management, development, career and succession planning, compensation and benefits, diversity, employee on- and offboarding, and retention of talent, within an area of expertise to meet business or institution's needs, enabling attracting, developing, and retaining talent at a sustainable cost; ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies, and external legal requirements.

  • Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to others.

  • Deliver complex analyses of HR data; identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.

  • Investigate, and propose solutions for, complex ER cases in liaison with line managers; coordinate the organization's response to legal cases brought by individuals; contribute to the preparation of legal submissions and ensure all parties complete casework accurately and within deadlines.

  • Contribute to the development and testing of HR data collection forms or questionnaires in area of expertise to ensure the collection of relevant data in line with defined requirements.
