Job Description

O Instrutor de Well Control é responsável por ministrar treinamentos de Controle de Poço de acordo com os padrões do IADC Well Sharp (níveis Introdutório, Driller e Supervisor – Superfície e Subsea). Este profissional deve assegurar que os participantes adquiram conhecimentos teóricos e práticos para operar com segurança em cenários de perfuração e controle de poços.

Principais Responsabilidades

  • Ministrar aulas teóricas e práticas de Controle de Poço conforme o currículo oficial do IADC WellSharp.

  • Conduzir treinamentos práticos em simuladores, replicando cenários reais de controle de poço (kicks, shut-in, kill methods, etc.).

  • Aplicar avaliações e exames, garantindo conformidade com os requisitos de qualidade e integridade definidos pelo IADC.

  • Elaborar relatórios de desempenho, registro de frequência e resultados dos alunos no sistema da IADC e nos controles internos.

  • Assegurar a atualização contínua dos materiais didáticos, simuladores e recursos de treinamento, em alinhamento com a versão vigente do programa.

  • Participar de auditorias internas e externas, contribuindo para a manutenção da acreditação do centro de treinamento.

  • Colaborar com a equipe de instrutores e suporte técnico no desenvolvimento e aprimoramento dos cursos.

Requisitos Obrigatórios

  • Certificação: Instrutor aprovado pelo IADC WellSharp para ministrar cursos de Controle de Poço

  • Conhecimento Técnico: - Métodos de controle de poço (Driller’s Method, Wait & Weight, Volumetric, Bullheading) - Pressões de formação, influxo, hidráulica de poço, operações de cimentação e revestimento - Normas e boas práticas internacionais (IADC, IWCF, API, ANP).

  • Idiomas: Inglês avançado (mandatório).

The Well Control Instructor is responsible for delivering Well Control training in accordance with IADC WellSharp standards (Introductory, Driller, and Supervisor levels – Surface and Subsea). This professional must ensure that participants acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to operate safely in drilling and well control scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver theoretical and practical Well Control classes in line with the official IADC WellSharp curriculum.

  • Conduct simulator-based training, replicating real well control scenarios (kicks, shut-in, kill methods, etc.).

  • Administer assessments and examinations, ensuring compliance with IADC quality and integrity requirements.

  • Prepare performance reports, attendance records, and student results within both the IADC system and internal controls.

  • Ensure continuous updating of training materials, simulators, and resources in alignment with the current program version.

  • Participate in internal and external audits, contributing to the maintenance of the training center’s accreditation.

  • Collaborate with the instructor team and technical support staff on the development and improvement of courses.

We are looking for

  • Certification: IADC WellSharp-approved Instructor authorized to deliver Well Control courses.

  • Technical Knowledge: - Well control methods (Driller’s Method, Wait & Weight, Volumetric, Bullheading) -Formation pressures, influx behavior, well hydraulics, casing, and cementing operations -International standards and best practices (IADC, IWCF, API, ANP).

  • Languages: Advanced English (mandatory).
