
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Organization and coordination of European road freight in accordance with applicable legal regulations, guidelines set forth in SOPs, IOPs and agreed KPIs:
Planning and scheduling of FTL/LTL transports, as well as managing all ad-hoc and urgent interruptions
Maintenance of internal and 3rd party systems
Preparation of all required documents in German / English
Follow-up on customs formalities
Monitoring of haulier performance
Cost conscious handling / transport orders allocation
Invoicing support
Being an active member of WnD (Warehousing and Distribution) team, who builds up and maintain good relationship with all internal stakeholders
Building up professional relationships with customer and suppliers
Handling of customer complaints / claims
Taking ownership of identifying improvement areas, providing solutions and alternatives
Continuous development in order to upgrade own skills and support company’s strategy
Actively contribution to the team’s objectives/targets/KPIs and overall company’s goals.
Required support towards management e.g. business insights, reports or analysis
Skills:
Ability to independently organize and structure daily work and manage the workload on the timely manner
High sense of urgency and ability to prioritize time-critical tasks
Capability to work under time pressure and to cope with stressful situations
Multitasking, meaning working on several tasks at the same time
Open-minded and creative attitude with willingness to promote change
Willingness to learn and ability to grasp quickly new tasks
Ease in exploring new IT systems
Personal ability to build strong relationships with others
High degree of empathy, assertiveness and confidence
Strong communication skills (both verbal & written)
Team player & Proactive approach
MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel
German & English
Experience in European Forwarding / Road Freight sector is an advantage
