Trade Execution Coordinator

Job purpose: The purpose of the position is to have a person responsible for trade execution, hereunder documentation relating to export shipments, customer and service provider coordination, dispute management and all other relevant aspects of the documentation process, delivery and customer success.

Responsibilities & tasks

• Document & Trade execution for primarily North American origin grains and oilseeds (and others where required), including creation and handling of all export documentation according to contract and customer requirements.
• Handling and management of letters of credit and other payment instruments
• Customer coordination and service in relation to planned and on-going shipments.
• Support origin logistics as required by management.
• Support the team in gaining, capturing and sharing knowledge and raising awareness of destination import and customs regulations
• Plan for and proactively seek to structure and automate routine tasks, to capture scale effects and minimize the risk of mistakes. This includes proactively guiding the development of systems to automate and digitize the procurement process.
• Proactively support the development of a global and scalable execution function across continents and time zones and contribute to intercompany communication strategies.
• Make sure relevant financial transactions and payments are executed timely and according to contract and terms.
• Control and process invoices relating to shipments.
• Keeping expected P/L on all bookings up to date at all times and proactively developing a link to finance and accounting.
• Conduct business in line with the Company’s governance policy and instill a culture reflecting core Company values.

Salary:

$60,000- $70,000

Benefits:

Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
