Job Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned business areas, partnering closely with hiring managers and People Partners to attract, assess, and hire top talent. This role acts as a trusted talent advisor, driving hiring excellence, workforce planning discussions, and a best-in-class candidate experience while ensuring compliance with global recruitment processes and local employment practices.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Delivery
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for professional, specialist, and leadership roles across Mexico.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategy, and timeline expectations.
- Develop sourcing strategies leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen and assess candidates against business and cultural requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate interview processes while ensuring timely feedback and decision-making.
- Drive offer management and support negotiations in alignment with compensation guidelines.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders on talent market conditions, recruitment strategy, and hiring decisions.
- Partner closely with People Partners and HR teams to align hiring activities with business priorities.
- Challenge and influence stakeholders when needed to improve hiring outcomes and process compliance.
- Facilitate kick-off meetings and recruitment status reviews with business leaders.
Talent Market Intelligence
- Provide insights on talent availability, market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activity.
- Conduct talent mapping exercises for critical and strategic positions.
- Support workforce planning discussions through talent market data and hiring trend analysis.
Recruitment Operations
- Maintain accurate recruitment data within Workday and other talent acquisition systems.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, employment legislation, and internal governance requirements.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs including time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate experience metrics.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance recruitment efficiency.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Act as a brand ambassador for Maersk in the talent market.
- Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment events, and talent attraction campaigns.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
Experience
- 4-7+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Executive Search.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes for professional and leadership positions.
- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Experience working with ATS platforms (preferably Workday).
- Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other direct sourcing tools.
