You will become part of a team of experienced professionals working to ensure our customers stay at the forefront of our decarbonization ambitions. In this role, you will help strengthen customer relationships by supporting the development of sales materials, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to the visibility of our sustainability solutions across the organisation. There is also room to shape the role based on your strengths and the opportunities you identify.

You will be working out of our Copenhagen office for 15-20 hours/ week

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, legal, technical) to ensure materials align with customer value propositions and compliance requirements.

  • Prepare for and participate in customer meetings to gather feedback and understand how materials are used and can be improved.

Internal awareness & lead development

  • Contribute to building internal awareness of ECO Delivery and Maersk’s broader sustainability offerings.

  • Conduct targeted outreach to global account teams to identify new opportunities and support pipeline development across customer segments.

  • Support with performance management

Learn and innovate

  • Bring a proactive, inquisitive mindset and contribute to improving team processes and ways of working.

  • Learn about the drivers and needs of stakeholders involved in decarbonization‑related customer engagements.

  • Take ownership of your own projects or tasks, demonstrating your ability to identify opportunities, create action plans, and deliver results.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme within business, economics, sustainability, supply chain, engineering, or a related field in a university in Copenhagen.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and create structured, compelling presentations and written materials.

  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and navigating a large, international organisation.

  • Strong data and analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • A proactive, curious approach — you enjoy learning, asking questions, and taking initiative.

  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with data visualization, AI and/or CRM tools is a plus.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

What We Offer

As a Student Assistant in the Energy Transition Commercialization team, you will gain hands‑on experience at the heart of Maersk’s decarbonization journey. You will work alongside experienced colleagues who are passionate about driving real change in global logistics, and you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully from day one.

You can expect:

  • A steep learning curve with exposure to commercial strategy, sustainability solutions, and customer engagement across global markets.

  • A supportive and collaborative team environment where your ideas are valued and you are encouraged to take initiative.

  • Professional development opportunities, including access to internal learning platforms, training sessions, and cross‑functional collaboration.

  • A chance to shape your own role, taking ownership of projects that match your interests and strengths.
