Senior Operational Excellence Supervisor

Location: Hai Phong Warehouses (Hai Thanh Ward & Hai An Ward) - no shuttle bus service

Responsibilities:

1. Lead OE Projects

• Identify, design, and implement improvement projects/ process optimization to enhance operational efficiency for new/existing customers
• Drive OE under Company Way to analyze processes and drive changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and sustainability.
• Organize best practices to standardize for across sites/customers

2. Manage productivity & cost saving programs

• Develop and oversee cost-saving initiatives aimed at increasing productivity.
• Monitor Cost saving programs
• Work closely with operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement/ process optimization

3. Training & Coaching

• Build training programs to upskill employees on best practices and DC excellence.
• Build frontline CI capability as Customer’s expectation.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust as necessary.

4. Warehouse Automation & Technology

• Lead process optimization for innovation projects with relevant stakeholders from ensure sustained adoption post go-live
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to logistics and warehouse operations.

5. Kaizen/Lean Ambassador

• Align customer OE programs with company standards and requirements.
• Act as a Lean Ambassador to promote and drive Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Facilitate Kaizen workshops with operational teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

• Meet OE KPI Target.
• Meet Customer OE KPI Target

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, or a related field.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 3 -5 years of experience in operations excellence and automation within the logistics sector.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of successful project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is preferred and Data Analyse Tool.

Functional Competencies:

• Integrated commercial knowledge distribution center services, transportation, freight forwarding, and contract logistics services would be an advantage
• Problem Solving with a positive attitude and teamwork approach
• Proven project management skills and the capability to work effectively in international teams
• Trainer/coach; able to impart knowledge to others
• Passion & Inspiration for innovation, change, and continuous improvement
• Proven ability to plan and prioritize work
• Strong analytical skills and organizational skills
• Fluent in English language, both verbal and written and Chinese language is a plus
• Good MS Office, especially Excel, and PowerPoint
