Job Description

Are you passionate about air cargo, operational excellence, and logistics execution? Join a global organisation where your expertise in air operations, process improvement, and team coordination can make a real impact.

This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing hands-on operational execution with coaching, prioritisation, and problem-solving.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will support the smooth execution of air cargo transport and aircraft fleet-related operations, ensuring activities are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. You will work independently within clear operational guidelines, taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities while escalating more complex issues when needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and coordinating air operations execution activities

  • Applying practical logistics knowledge and technical expertise to deliver effective outcomes

  • Monitoring workflows, solving operational issues, and selecting the best solution from known alternatives

  • Supporting process execution and ensuring procedures are followed accurately

  • Coaching and guiding less experienced colleagues as needed

  • Overseeing daily priorities to ensure timely and high-quality task completion

  • Contributing to operational improvements and helping drive consistent service delivery

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone with previous experience in air operations, air cargo, logistics, or a related operational environment, combined with a strong ability to work independently and make sound decisions within established processes.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • Previous experience in air freight, air cargo transport, aviation operations, or logistics execution

  • Strong practical knowledge of operational end-to-end methods, procedures, and workflows

  • The ability to work independently while knowing when to seek support on more complex matters

  • Confidence in evaluating options and choosing effective solutions within your area of expertise

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a busy environment

  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or informally supervising colleagues is an advantage

  • Advanced education or relevant professional experience in a related field

Why join us

This is more than just an operations role — it’s an opportunity to build your career in a business where your expertise, judgement, and ability to influence outcomes will grow over time.

You’ll have the chance to:

  • Build deep expertise in air operations execution

  • Develop your leadership and coaching capability

  • Strengthen your project and process management skills

  • Influence operational decisions and contribute to long-term success

  • Grow within a professional environment that values technical knowledge, ownership, and continuous improvement

Who this role suits

This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys being close to the operation, solving real-world challenges, and helping teams deliver at their best. If you are detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and motivated by logistics excellence, we would love to hear from you.
