About the role

As a CHB Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end customs brokerage operations for a defined portfolio of clients while leading a team of CHB professionals. You will ensure compliant, efficient, and high-quality service delivery, while acting as a subject matter expert and escalation point for both clients and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in driving operational performance, customer satisfaction, and team development within Maersk Customs Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of CHB associates, including workload allocation, coaching, performance management, and development
  • Oversee end-to-end import customs brokerage operations, ensuring timely and compliant processing of shipments
  • Develop strong understanding of client import programs, including product classifications, regulatory requirements, and service expectations
  • Act as primary escalation point for complex operational or customer issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Monitor and drive performance against KPIs, service levels, and operational targets, taking corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure accuracy in financial processes including billing, accruals, and accounts receivable follow-up
  • Collaborate with internal teams (compliance, IT, product, and operations) to optimize service delivery and address process gaps
  • Ensure full compliance with CBP regulations and all applicable federal and agency requirements.

​What We Are Looking For:

Operational leadership & service delivery focus: we are looking for someone who can lead day-to-day customs operations with a strong focus on service quality, team performance, and consistent delivery against KPIs.

  • 3–6 years of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or transportation, with 1–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of U.S. import regulations, customs compliance, and brokerage operations
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational performance and quality
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels of the organization.

Your Impact

In this role, you will directly influence service delivery quality, customer retention, operational efficiency, and compliance standards. You will also contribute to team engagement and capability building while supporting the achievement of productivity and profitability targets within CHB operations.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
