Job Description

The Regional Client Manager (RCM) is pivotal in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with regional decision-makers in the customer’s organization. the RCM ensures that Maersk’s logistics solutions are seamlessly aligned with the customer’s regional objectives, driving Maersk’s reputation as the preferred regional logistics partner. Involves creating long-term value for both Maersk and the customer through strategic account management, business planning, and consultative selling acting as the bridge between local and global priorities, ensuring that regional strategies contribute effectively to overarching global goals.

Responsibilities

General:

  • Leading strategic conversations with senior decision-makers within the customer’s regional organization.
  • Developing, owning, and executing the regional business plan aligned with both customer objectives and Maersk’s strategic priorities.
  • Driving regional business growth by identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities in collaboration with LCMs and the KCD
  • Acting as the key liaison between the customer’s regional team and Maersk’s global and local teams, ensuring a consistent and coordinated approach.

Selling

  • Lead regional opp identification in accordance with the roadmap
  • Drive local sales pursue in your geography location.
  • Ensure that Value Prop are tailor made to customer needs
  • Lead the RCM driven part of the Operating Model

Strategy

  • Know the customer’s supply chain strategy and needs
  • Identify & Qualify regional growth opportunities
  • Provide input to the Global Acct plan and relationship mng
  • Ensure that regional product teams are informed on the regional value proposition

Requirements

  • A results‑driven sales professional with 5+ years of experience identifying, pursuing, and winning high‑value, large‑scale opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive, account development strategy plans for short / medium / long term objectives
  • Highly developed consultative selling approach, persuasiveness and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication, networking, interpersonal and influencing skills to communicate at all levels.
