
Job Description
The Rate Maintenance Filing Executive is responsible for accurately processing, validating, and filing pricing projects for the Ocean rate retrieval. The role ensures correct application of charges, timely system updates, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to support smooth billing and operational accuracy.

- Process and maintain pricing projects for Ocean rate retrieval.
- Accurate and timely execution of filings in AFLS in compliance with government regulations.
- Identify discrepancies and raise correction requests.
- Support timely filings by ensuring all applicable rates are retrieved correctly.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all filing entries.
- Respond to queries related to pricing retrieval and provide resolution support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tariff rules, and SOP guidelines.
- Provide ad-hoc support for operational requirements and generate reports as needed to support analysis, tracking, and decision-making.
- Drive joint initiatives between GSC and Revenue management (ROM/CPM/ROP/IPM) which should help to achieve organization goals and to build a good rapport.
- Understand Customer’s requirement and focus on customer/revenue outcome.
- High attention to quality - 100% is mandatory.
- Identify and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Timely reporting to Process Manager on day-to-day team performance and issues
- Flexible in rotational shifts
- Graduate in any discipline
- Good in communication, process improvement, analytics & convincing skills
- Minimum experience of 3 years in this portfolio
- Ability to work under pressure - with high sense of urgency.
- Detail oriented - ability to perform processes as per pre-defined design.
- Good presentation and Microsoft excel skills.
- Should be able to analyse / foresee challenges.
- General awareness of the practical side of Commercial processes in shipping industry
