Quality Business Partner (temporary)

Job Description

The Quality Business Partner serves as a key individual contributor in ensuring adherence to quality standards and driving continuous improvement within a designated area. This role is responsible for overseeing the governance of the quality management system framework, fostering strong partnerships with teams at site level, and providing critical insights to uphold compliance and mitigate risks. Working closely with operational teams and their direct leader the Quality Business Partner ensures alignment with corporate quality objectives and facilitates best practice sharing to enhance overall performance

This is a temporary position for 1 year.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management Systems, Certification & Compliance

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across sites and operations.
• Ensure adherence to company quality standards, policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain governance of quality processes, documentation, and controls to support compliance and operational consistency.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits, inspections, certification activities, and compliance programmes.
• Act as a quality subject matter expert, providing guidance and support on quality standards, requirements, and best practices.

Quality Governance, Performance & Stakeholder Partnership

• Build strong partnerships with site leadership and operational teams to drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and report quality performance metrics, identify trends and risks, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Provide insights and recommendations to support compliance, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with quality leadership to align site activities with corporate quality objectives and standards.
• Deliver quality training, coaching, and awareness initiatives to strengthen quality capabilities.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

We're Looking For

• Certified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification preferred.
• Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external audits, certification activities, and quality compliance programmes.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standard and familiarity with quality frameworks.
• Experience implementing, maintaining, or supporting Quality Management Systems within operational environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and CAPA management.
• Ability to interpret quality data, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and geographies in a matrix organisation.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance quality, compliance, and business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
