We Offer
To lead and manage the administrative and public affairs functions across Maersk Indonesia, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and strategic stakeholder engagement. This role supports the organization by delivering efficient administrative services and fostering positive relationships with external stakeholders, including government bodies, industry / trade associations and media, to protect and promote Maersk’s reputation and interests.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans for administrative operations aligned with Maersk's business objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that enhance organizational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
Lead and supervise administrative teams including receptionists, office assistants, and utilities.
Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and adherence to company policies.
Manage vendor relationships, including selection, performance, and cost optimization.
Organize internal events and support facilities management and office space planning.
Provide secretarial support to senior leaders and general clerical support to teams.
Public Affairs Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison with government agencies and regulatory bodies; Ensure full alignment and close coordination with Maersk’s Public Affairs to support overall Maersk Group’s global and regional priorities.
Ensure compliance with local documentation and protocols.
Execution of Maersk’s government relations and public policy activities, including engaging appropriately with relevant key government officials, business associations coalitions and other relevant stakeholders.
Aligns public affairs activities and/or initiatives with global and regional priorities to sustain presentation and visibility in the industry.
Monitor and manage reputational risks and opportunities for all Maersk businesses in Indonesia
What we are looking for
Minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience within multinational companies or highly regulated industries.
Proven track record of engaging with government officials or/and high ranking officials.
Experience in managing teams and vendor contracts
Exposure working in a matrix organisation
Experience in negotiation and external stakeholder engagement.
