JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will act as a strategic HR business partner to the Maersk Contract Logistics (MCL) business leaders and be responsible for providing day-to-day consultation on employee life cycle events including talent acquisition, internal transfer and relocation, performance management, employee relations & engagement, annual review exercises as well as onboarding and offboarding processes. The incumbent will also be required to support learning and organization development programs and change management initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities.

  • Work closely with the business and other related stakeholders to ensure the company’s adherence to all applicable HR-related legal/regulatory and compliance requirements of the country.
  • Provide HR consulting and operation services in line with business strategies and objectives.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of local HR strategies and initiatives in support of the People First agenda.
  • Develop and implement retention initiatives to facilitate talent development, mobility and retention.
  • Ensure the business resourcing requirements are fulfilled within the agreed timeline through diverse talent acquisition channels and strategies.
  • Ensure the smooth implementation of annual cycles, including salary and bonus reviews and the performance management processes through close partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Support the planning and global rollout of change management and organization development initiatives.
  • Manage industrial relations including unions in accordance with local trade union regulations, lead internal labor policies development and program implementation.
  • Oversee and manage all HR process improvements to ensure best practices are adopted.
  • Apply HR analytics and timely reports to enable leaders to make informed decisions.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of total experience with at least 3 years in manager level gained from multinational companies
  • Demonstrated capability in strategic planning, project management, and deployment of employment-related ordinances, policies, and procedures
  • Skills in organizational development are an advantage
  • Experience in the Logistics / Supply Chain industry is highly preferred
  • Team player, results-oriented, self-motivated and detail-minded
  • Strong at consulting and business partnerships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications
