KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver Great People Support
Be the first point of contact for HR queries via case management, chat, phone, and face-to-face support.
Provide guidance on HR policies, processes, and HR systems.
Manage the full employee lifecycle from Hire to Retire including completion of all compliance activities and documentation.
Champion an employee-first approach and consistently demonstrate operational excellence.
On-Site Employee Support
Provide in person People Operations support as required.
Represent the People Operations Advisory at employee events, town halls, and career fairs while building strong relationships across the business.
Participate in local initiatives (incl. engagement initiative & well-being activities).
Maintain visibility within the business by building trusted relationships with employees, leaders, and key stakeholders.
Facilitate employee engagement activities, awareness sessions, and local People initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
People Operations Administration
Support a broad range of People Operations activities, including:
Employee lifecycle administration.
Personnel records management.
HR reporting and data administration.
Payroll coordination and compliance support.
Collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the People Function (Payroll, Rewards, People Partners etc) and other functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Coordinate and support payroll-related processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission of employee changes and documentation.
Act as a liaison between employees, other functions - whenever applicable, and external vendors to resolve employee matters.
Ensure data integrity within Workday through regular audits, reporting, and corrective actions.
Drive Continuous Improvement
Be an active contributor to continuous improvement by sharing best practices, identifying trends based on case management, and recommending better ways of working.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, service delivery, and the employee experience.
Support process simplification, automation, and digital initiatives.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the team
Support the implementation of new People policies, processes, and HR system changes across the region.
Collaborate Across the Region
Support regional and People Operations projects across Africa, IMEA and globally.
Work closely with colleagues across all regions to deliver consistent, high-quality People services.
Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
Support organizational transformation initiatives, compliance projects, and change management initiatives across the region.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Someone with:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources,Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
At least 2 years' experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Shared Services, or a similar HR advisory role.
Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgement.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with Workday or another Human Capital Management (HCM) system is an advantage.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with regional and global teams
