About the role
As People Advisor, you’ll be joining the People & Payroll team and play a vital part in our success, supporting our employees with their HR queries so that they can focus on their own jobs. Taking care of their issues, whether big or small, and making sure they get a great employee experience in every interaction with HR.

A People Advisor is responsible for acting as first point of contact for employees and take ownership of managing each HR related query to conclusion to deliver a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
As a People Advisor in Maersk Air Cargo, you will provide expert HR guidance and operational support to leaders and employees, ensuring compliant and effective people practices across the business. You role will consist of:
Advising managers and employees on employment law, employee relations matters, collective agreements, and HR policies.
Supporting a highly unionised workforce and partnering with employee representatives to maintain constructive labour relations.
Coordinating complex employment matters and identifying risks, engaging Legal and other stakeholders as needed.
Coordinating cross-border employment solutions and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Supporting key employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, performance management, organisational changes, and offboarding.
Partnering closely with Legal, Payroll, Tax, local and global HR teams, managers, and external advisors to resolve people-related matters.
Ensuring compliance with local legislation, collective agreements, company policies, and global HR processes.
Driving timely execution of HR initiatives with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and is passionate about delivering pragmatic, compliant people solutions.
You will bring:
Proven ability to build effective partnerships.
Experience working in highly unionised environments and supporting leaders on collective agreement and employee relations matters.
Experience with cross-border employment and coordinating compliant employment solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
Experience from the aviation industry is an advantage.
Solid operational HR experience across the full employee lifecycle.
A strong legal and compliance mindset, with the ability to identify risks and engage the right stakeholders.
Knowledge of Danish employment law, employment relations, and HR compliance.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
High execution capability, with a track record of ownership, accountability, and delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Experience with Workday is an advantage.
