Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Outbound Logistics Agent to coordinate domestic and international shipments, manage airline routing, and ensure timely movement of freight. The ideal candidate will have experience in air cargo logistics, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments through commercial and cargo airlines.
Route freight efficiently while ensuring compliance with airline and customer requirements.
Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
Answer incoming phone calls professionally and respond promptly to emails regarding shipment inquiries, scheduling, and service issues.
Prepare and review shipping documents, air waybills, and other logistics-related paperwork.
Communicate with airlines, customers, drivers, warehouses, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
Resolve shipment delays, routing issues, and customer concerns in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate shipment records and update transportation management systems.
Qualifications
Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or air cargo operations preferred.
Familiarity with airline routing, scheduling, and air freight processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute (WPM).
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
Must be dependable, professional, and customer service oriented.
Requirements
Must be eligible to obtain a TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) number.
Must successfully pass a criminal background check and any other required pre-employment screenings.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with air freight, freight forwarding, or airline cargo operations.
Knowledge of TSA regulations and cargo security requirements.
Experience using transportation management or warehouse management systems.

Pay Range:
$25.00 -$27.00 per hour
*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
