We are looking for a Student Assistant who is organized, proactive, and takes ownership of their work in a fast-paced, international setting. You will join the Marine People team, where you will work closely with colleagues across People & Culture and Fleet Management & Technology (FMT), supporting the day-to-day processes that ensure our seafarers are enabled to perform at their best.

As part of the Marine People team, you will contribute to maintaining high-quality data, efficient administrative processes, and strong stakeholder coordination, while also supporting selected strategic initiatives in close collaboration with the HR Head within a function that plays a critical role in crew operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into HR operations within the maritime industry, while contributing to a team that values accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operations & Administration
- Support end-to-end seafarer administration processes
- Assist with registrations and documentation
- Support processing of travel claims and administrative requests
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support ad hoc projects within Marine People and People & Culture
- Contribute to improving processes, workflows, and data quality
- Ensure proper handover and continuity of tasks when required
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams, external authorities, and stakeholders
- Support coordination to ensure timely execution of tasks and processes
- Contribute to maintaining strong and professional stakeholder relationships
In addition to supporting day-to-day operations, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to selected strategic initiatives and projects, providing exposure to higher-level planning and decision-making within the Marine People function.
Who We are Looking For
We are looking for a structured student, who can see both the detail and the high-level overview, who takes ownership of their work and enjoys working in a process-driven environment. You are proactive, organized, and able to manage tasks independently while collaborating effectively with a broader team. You bring strong communication skills in English and are comfortable handling data, documentation, and administrative processes with a high level of accuracy and care, including confidential information. You also have the ability to think out of the box, seek areas for optimization and take on high-level ad hoc tasks with a positive attitude.
To be considered for this position, you must be in the final semester of your Bachelor's with an intent to start Master's degree right after or have just started your Master's in Business Administration, HR , Maritime or related education at a Danish University and based in Copenhagen.
This is a part time job upto 20 hours in a week with flexibility around exams period.
