APM Terminals
Location: Barcelona, Spain
APM Terminals Barcelona, located at the Muelle Sur Container Terminal in the Port of Barcelona, is a key logistics hub on the Mediterranean coast. Fully owned by APM Terminals, the terminal boasts a capacity of 1.35 million TEUs annually and plays a vital role in connecting global trade routes. Since 2016, we’ve been at the forefront of innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence in container handling.
Your Mission as Maintenance Analyst:
Drive data-driven decision-making and process optimization across terminal operations. Enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs through strategic analysis and continuous improvement of asset maintenance processes. You'll support departments with advanced analytics, develop dashboards (Power BI), and implement automation tools to enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze maintenance data to improve equipment availability and reduce total cost of ownership.
Develop and maintain KPIs and reports for local and global use.
Ensure data quality in CMMS and lead data cleansing initiatives.
Collaborate with global maintenance teams and contribute to best practice sharing.
What You Bring:
University degree in Engineering or related field (Data Science, Big Data...)
3+ years in asset maintenance or facility management (in data analytics).
Strong analytical skills and experience with CMMS and maintenance metrics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English and Spanish
Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Access, and web/app programming.
Knowledge of Lean tools, simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, FlexSim), and AI tools.
