The role involves a high degree of interaction with buyers, supplier specialists, Technical Managers, Chief Engineers, and Ship Engineering Specialists. Good interpersonal and relationship management skills are essential. You are further expected to develop a deep understanding of our key stakeholders’ maintenance and lubrication needs in order to offer expert advice and develop new initiatives for reducing cost and complexity

The successful candidate must be capable of researching various products and applications and quickly gaining an understanding of unfamiliar concepts in order to advise our clients. Experience of marine chemicals and paints usage would be considered advantageous but is not a prerequisite for the role.

The role would be well suited to a chemistry expert, machinery engineer or a marine engineer with a broad understanding of lubrication. Hands-on experience with lubricant testing and formulating or Marine or Heavy Plant engineering would be considered advantageous but not essential.
