Landside Operations Agent

Job Purpose

To plan, coordinate, and dispatch daily transportation activities, ensuring containers are moved safely, efficiently, and on time while meeting customer and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan daily transport movements and allocate trucks based on operational priorities.
• Coordinate pickups, deliveries, port, depot, and warehouse activities.
• Monitor truck movements and ensure timely execution of transport orders.
• Manage appointments and follow up to avoid delays or missed slots.
• Communicate with transport vendors, drivers, terminals, depots, and internal teams.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate critical exceptions when required.
• Ensure accurate updates in transportation and operational systems.
• Track daily performance and support achievement of operational KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
  

Qualifications

• Solid experience in transportation, logistics, dispatching, or landside operations.
• Good knowledge of port and container transportation operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and transportation management systems.
