We are seeking an experienced IT/OT Engineer with a background in IT infrastructure, network and systems architecture, and operating systems administration, to support and enhance our IT and OT landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in VMware, Windows, and Linux environments, coupled with experience in ITIL practices and Agile project management. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, architectural insight, and hands-on support, with travel as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

IT/OT Infrastructure and Architecture:

  • Design, implement, and manage robust IT and OT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system architecture for scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Oversee network and systems architecture, ensuring compatibility and seamless integration between IT and OT environments.

Virtualization and Systems Management:

  • Deploy and maintain virtualized environments using VMware, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Manage and administer Windows and Linux servers, implementing security patches, updates, and maintenance.

ITIL & Project Management:

  • Apply ITIL best practices to streamline service management and ensure process consistency.
  • Lead or participate in Agile project management processes, delivering system improvements and new deployments efficiently.

System Integration and Technical Support:

  • Integrate IT and OT systems to facilitate smooth data flow and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and issue resolution across critical systems, with proactive problem-solving skills.

Travel and IT Duty:

  • Travel to various locations for on-site support, project execution, and system maintenance.
  • Participate in on-call IT duty rotations to provide 24/7 support for essential systems.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, architecture designs, and procedural workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, organizational policies, and security best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution (e.g., EMI, ENSEM, HASSANIA, FST, ENSA, ENSAM).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar IT/OT engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network, and systems architecture.
  • Expertise in VMware, Windows, and Linux environments, with a strong understanding of IT/OT integration.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel and perform on-call IT duties as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in ITIL, VMware, Linux, or Windows administration.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
