Our opportunity
This is a senior People leadership role responsible for the full people partnering agenda across frontline operations in Latin America, spanning Contract Logistics and Landside Transportation. The role operates at scale — large workforce populations, multiple countries, high-volume operational sites and depot networks — and requires a leader equally capable of shaping strategic direction and rolling up their sleeves on complex, on-the-ground workforce challenges.
The Head of People Partners – LAM Frontline will serve as the primary People Function interface for the region’s most operationally intensive business lines, working in close partnership with Area and Regional leadership and leading a cross-regional team of People Partners from depot level upward.
Main responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead a cross-regional team of People Partners, covering the full range of frontline sites and depots across LATAM, and build capability within the team to support business needs from operational to senior leadership level.
Establish clear standards, operating rhythms, and ways of working to ensure consistent, high-quality partnership across the business.
Trusted Advisory & Business Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor to senior operational leaders and site managers across Contract Logistics and Landside Transportation, translating workforce challenges into practical people solutions.
Partner closely with the regional People Function, including PF Focal, Area PF Heads, and COE teams, to ensure integrated delivery of the people agenda.
People Agenda & Workforce Management
Lead organizational design work, including structure optimization, spans and layers, role clarity, and capability alignment.
Advise on org transformations, new operating models, and scaling plans as the business grows or evolves.
Ensure organizations are structured, staffed, and equipped to meet short- and long-term business priorities.
Labour Relations & Compliance
Provide oversight and guidance on complex employee relations matters to ensure fair, consistent, and risk-mitigating outcomes.
Ensure compliance with policies, employment legislation, audits, and governance standards.
Use ER insights to proactively identify trends and address systemic issues.
Change & Operational Effectiveness
Lead and support organizational and operational change initiatives across frontline operations, ensuring robust people change management at pace.
Maintain strong operational awareness and stay connected to frontline workforce realities across sites — this role does not operate from a distance.
We are looking for:
10+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years in a strategic HR Business Partner or advisory role within a complex contract logistics environment
Substantial HR leadership or senior HRBP experience in operational, frontline-intensive environments — logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, or comparable industries.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing cross-regional or multi-country People Partner teams.
Proven track record supporting large-scale frontline workforces across dispersed operational sites.
Regional LATAM experience within complex matrix organisations.
Strong working knowledge of labour law and industrial relations across key LATAM markets.
Fluent communication in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Ability to influence and build credibility with senior operational stakeholders while remaining grounded in frontline realities.
Hands-on, resilient, and execution-oriented — comfortable moving between strategic and operational modes.
Ideal:
Experience in landside transportation or depot-intensive operations.
Background in multinational logistics organisations.
Exposure to high-volume operational environments and associated workforce dynamics.
Broader LATAM labour relations experience across diverse regulatory contexts.
