C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This Head of Integrated Sales is responsible for the commercial/selling activities related to the customers owned in the geographical area under supervision. This position will report to the Area Head of Sales. The main target will be to ensure the accomplishment of the sales targets in collaboration with the product organisation, including:

1. Delivery as per the Area budget​

  • Lead and set direction for the sales team according to budget – both on delivering ocean volume, growing LNS revenues and optimizing profits​.
  • Coach and drive the sales team to sell and grow our product portfolio, to exceed set sales targets
  • Define and set targets for sales incentives together with the Sales FBP​

2. Customer satisfaction​

  • Actively monitor local Net Promoter Score (NPS) with the vertical/segment and drive local improvement to improve customer satisfaction​

3. Manage stakeholders across the area, region and global functions​

  • Lead the transformation from the front according to the company's strategy
  • Ensure best practices are shared across the team.
  • Manage cross-functional relationships and actively provide input to product teams on product value proposition.
  • Connect with the sales function across the world to enable network sales.
  • Ensure that we produce sales materials and collateral to ensure that our business is represented across the Maersk Network.

4. Build and develop a best-in-class sales team​

  • Ensure succession plans are in place for key roles, including your own role​
  • Coach directs reports for success and development​
  • Manage team engagement​

5. Sales Discipline

  • Ensure that Salesforce is appropriately utilized to ensure our reporting is to the highest possible standards

D. JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Have at least 10 years of BD, Sales, Key Account management, or related experience in freight-forwarding or shipping companies.
  • Fluent in English. Candidates with Chinese Mandarin skills will have a big advantage.
  • Have a growth mindset. Always try to go beyond the targets.
  • Have strong experience in understanding and identifying Customer pain points using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Have strong analytical and data-driven skills.
  • Have a customer-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail and a drive to serve customers.
  • Have strong motivational leadership and team management skills.
  • Have a strong ability to communicate clearly and set focus/direction for the team.
  • Have strong stakeholder management skills. Able to build and gain trust from senior stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.
