Stillstrom, a business venture owned by the A.P. Møller Maersk Group, is a leading global provider of offshore power and charging solutions. Our mission is to eliminate offshore vessel emissions and enable clean, reliable offshore power across the maritime sector.

Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Stillstrom is an international team of 30+ professionals working at the forefront of maritime electrification. We design, fabricate, test, and deploy innovative offshore charging systems for vessels operating in offshore wind farms and other marine environments.

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will play a key role in system integration, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement of our electrical designs.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the electrical scope of offshore charging solutions, ensuring strong technical delivery and effective collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

  • Contribute to operations and maintenance approaches, including developing safe and practical procedures for high-voltage offshore operations

  • Deliver electrical engineering work scopes in line with internal processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring technical and operational feasibility

  • Identify, manage, and resolve electrical interfaces across disciplines to ensure overall system integrity

  • Promote and embed a strong safety culture, applying lessons learned to continuously improve electrical system design and performance

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and classification societies, and manage suppliers and subcontractors to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards

  • Support Business Development with high-level electrical system designs (e.g., single-line diagrams, equipment estimates, technical assessments), including identifying risks and potential mitigations

  • Monitor market developments and identify opportunities to further enhance offshore charging solutions

  • Represent Stillstrom in industry forums to support offshore power standardization

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with approximately 5-10 years of relevant industry experience, ideally within offshore environments

  • Strong experience in electrical system integration

  • Solid knowledge of high- and low-voltage systems, including transformers, switchgear, and power converters

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience with vessel electrical design, shore power, and dynamic/static cabling in offshore environments is an advantage

What You’ll Bring

You are a structured and self-driven engineer with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. You are comfortable working in a data- and engineering-driven environment and can navigate both technical complexity and stakeholder interactions effectively.
