Depot Business Development Manager, East Mediterranean Area (EME)

You will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, driving commercial growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across the EME region.
Product Management in this context requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, customer requirements, and operational capabilities across multiple geographies. You will work closely with Sales, Carriers, and Logistics Service Providers to ensure effective development, positioning, and management of CFS and Depot products.
The incumbent is expected to have a solid understanding of business interdependencies, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and be accountable for delivering performance while adapting strategies to navigate operational and market challenges.
* EME: Bulgaria, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Lebanon, Romania, Ukraine, Türkiye.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a commercial enabler for Sales teams across EME in developing CFS/Depot business (both Maersk-owned and 3rd party).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and logistics service providers to promote Maersk CFS/depot capabilities across the region.
- Drive cargo volumes, revenue, and yield while ensuring alignment with regional and area performance targets.
- Monitor and analyze pricing trends across key markets to support data-driven pricing decisions.
- Develop and implement bundled solutions (standardized and customized) to support customer acquisition and business expansion.
- Define and execute product strategies, including growth targets by segment and geography, ensuring competitiveness in diverse EME markets.
- Collaborate closely with Depot Operations and Sales teams to design and implement effective pricing and commercial strategies.
- Promote our Depot capabilities and enhance awareness across internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for:
- Master’s degree with a minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
- Strong experience in CFS/Depot operations, Special Cargo, Project Logistics, or carrier network management is preferred.
- Proven understanding of the EME logistics landscape, including regional market dynamics and customer needs.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently in a complex, matrix organization.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with a solution-oriented approach and strong commercial acumen.
