Customs Delivery Agent – Trainee (12 Months)

Maersk Customs Services is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented professional to join our team as a Customs Delivery Agent – Trainee . This role offers hands‑on exposure across customs clearance execution while building strong foundational knowledge of customs regulations, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Verify the accuracy and completeness of customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates, etc.)
Prepare and follow up on import license applications
Carry out administrative procedures and customs circuits to obtain delivery orders / Customs release
Monitor clearance files through to final release of goods
Update tracking systems and prepare regular reports (file status, lead times, bottlenecks, etc.)
Identify documentation discrepancies and escalate any non-compliance issues
Contribute to improving processing lead times and service quality
Who We Are Looking For
Someone with:
Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Logistics, Transport, International Trade, or a related field
Knowledge of customs procedures and transit operations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Analytical mindset and team spirit
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Good communication skills in French; English is a plus
